How we write our summaries
We explain science honestly, without hype.
How we choose studies
- Published in scientific journals.
- Relevant to people aged 50 and over.
- We say clearly when a study is observational and does not prove cause.
How we write
- Each article covers what the study found, what it means in practice, and its limitations.
- Every article links to the original source.
- We do not add numbers that are not in the study.
- We label the study type: clinical trial, observational study, natural experiment, intervention study or secondary analysis.
Images
Article images are illustrative, AI-generated, and do not show study participants. This is stated on each article.
